I have a three year old child. With my partner we feel that at that age children should spend more time with their parents. Yet we both have to work which means that our little one has to stay daily at the nursery for more hours. With a basic income at our disposal I will be able to work less and spend more time with our little one. Besides it's time to accept the fact that parenting is a full time job with the responsibility of raising confident and responsible future members of our societies. And it is unpaid.
