For the longest time, I have been passionate about helping those less fortunate, both animals and people. Unfortunately, the nonprofit sector is not as lucrative as the for-profit sector and living in NYC is expensive. That said, I try to live a simple life. Helping animals is important to me because they do not have a voice, and can't help themselves. Social good/causes (helping the homeless, illiterate, the elderly, people with addiction) is important because they too need to know that someone is on their side. Lastly, I am a great social connector and truly enjoy hosting events and helping people connect with each other. For me personally learning about different cultures and being exposed to them is important too. If I had basic income, I could pursue all of these things. Thank
